Instrument Introduction:
The GC-7820 trace sulfur analysis gas chromatograph is based on our company's original flame photometric detector, which has been continuously improved and has the advantages of high sensitivity, good stability, accurate qualitative and quantitative analysis, and easy operation.
This instrument can detect natural gas, coal gas, coke oven gas, liquefied petroleum gas, and food grade CO2Complete analysis of sulfides in gas, including H2S. COS and other forms of sulfides (CS)2, C4H4S, Content analysis of thiols, thioethers, etc., high inert gas flow path and chromatographic column after special treatment of sample gas, analysis of trace amounts of SO in flue gas and other gases2 Some special samples can be analyzed by changing the high voltage and range.
The sensitivity of the instrument can reach 0.02 × 10 when calculated as hydrogen sulfide-6(0.02ppm);
Calculated based on thiophene, it can reach 0.03 × 10-6(0.03ppm)。
In the synthesis of ammonia, methanol, and food grade CO2In typical production processes such as pressure swing adsorption, the presence of sulfides is a factor that needs special attention and consideration from the perspectives of safety, environmental protection, and equipment corrosion prevention. At the same time, this instrument plays a very important role in monitoring the desulfurization effect of various desulfurizers and preventing catalyst poisoning.
The instrument installation can be in fully automatic online sampling mode, fully automatic offline sampling mode, and offline manual sampling mode. For special samples with hazardous and toxic characteristics, our company has designed multiple solutions, which are customized instruments. The instrument can also be equipped with TCD (thermal conductivity cell) detectors, instrument pipelines, and injection devices according to user needs for constant sulfides. The detection devices have been passivated to some extent, reducing the adsorption of low content sulfides and the corrosion of high content sulfides.
1、 Sulfides are divided into organic sulfur and inorganic sulfur
Organic sulfur: carbon disulfide (CS2), methyl mercaptan (CH4S), methyl sulfide (C2H6S), ethyl mercaptan (C2H6S), ethyl sulfide (C4H10S), dimethyl disulfide (C2H6S2), thiophene (C4H4S).
Inorganic sulfur: hydrogen sulfide (H2S), carbonyl sulfide (COS), sulfur dioxide (SO2)
The minimum detection of hydrogen sulfide is 20ppb. (Trace sulfur detector, high pressure 750, GDX-303 column)
2、 Sulfide analysis conditions and spectra
1. Sulfide capillary column analysis
Analysis conditions:
Special capillary column for sulfide injection using PTFE six way valve
2. GDX-303 column
Analysis conditions:
PTFE six way valve injection
When detecting sulfides in gas, the hydrogen sulfide content in front of the tower is generally 8000-15000mg/m3, and the hydrogen sulfide content behind the tower is 20-100mg/m3.
3. Thiophene detection in benzene
Analysis conditions:
Thiophene specific column
Trace thiophene detection spectrum
4. Detection of sulfur hexafluoride, hydrogen sulfide, and carbon disulfide using a squalane column
Analysis conditions: Injection of PTFE six way valve
Specialized column (3mm * 2m PTFE filled column)
